Mount San Jacinto State Park

    Mount San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness is located at a high altitude where the growing season is short. It is a park with two distinct sides.

    The Mountain side of the park is accessed via the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, bringing visitors up to the Mountain Station at 8500 ft elevation. Visitors can hike, picnic, play in the snow, or visit the amenities at the top of the tram, while enjoying wonderful views of the valley below.

    The park’s other side has two campgrounds located in and near Idyllwild, CA. This side of the park offers day use and hiking in addition to camping. Everyone entering the Mount San Jacinto State Wilderness must have a permit in their possession. Groups are limited to 15 people, and juvenile groups must have at least one adult leader for each 14 juveniles. Dogs are not permitted in wilderness areas of the State Park System

    Tastings for small groups (6 or fewer) do not require reservations. Large groups (6+ guests) and/or wine tours must contact us ahead of time for reservations. Large group reservations are typically accommodated Mon-Thu at 12p and Fri-Sun at 11a.

Temecula Duck Pond & Veterans Memorial

  • The Temecula Duck Pond & Veterans Memorial is a lovely outdoor space located in Temecula Valley, California. The park features a serene duck pond that is home to various waterfowl species and is surrounded by walking paths and benches for visitors to enjoy. In addition, the park also has a veterans memorial that pays tribute to local servicemen and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The memorial includes plaques, statues, and other tributes to honor the sacrifices made by these brave individuals.

  • Permanent Exhibits:

    Our permanent exhibits consist of various artifacts, which include baskets, pottery, and a variety of tools used by the native tribes of southern California. We also have our native plant garden exhibit—Temalpakh—which showcases a variety of California Native plants and how they were used as a food source, medicine and creating shelters. Each exhibit aims to open dialogue and inform our visitors of the history, culture and lives of California native Americans in the past, present and future.
